About these numbers

What the section rests on, and what it does not have yet.

  • Schedules and scores come from MaxPreps, where NCHSAA directs schools to report flag football results. Home and away come from each team's own schedule page.
  • Every NCHSAA member school's MaxPreps flag football page was checked, so a school with no team is recorded as not fielding one, not simply missing.
  • The RPI here uses the association's formula (0.4 WP + 0.4 OWP + 0.2 OOWP) on the games stored. NCHSAA has published its own flag football RPI table since 22 September; ours is checked against it every run, and can be a day ahead of it.
  • No outside system rates North Carolina flag football yet, so there is nothing to print beside our power ratings. Early ratings rest on a few games a team and will move.
