The question then is, does Hough fall into that category of motivator, more so than any other "good team". I don't perceive Butler as an underdog here. So maybe my perspective is different.
On paper, these two teams looked pretty even to me. I did, however, hear a considerable more "hype" about Hough this offs-season than I did about Butler. On paper, I don't see Butler as the underdog either, and as such, I thought Butler was ripe to pull off a perceived "upset" although in realistic terms, it would be no upset as these two team are fairly even.
After 3 quarters, Butler leads Hough 14-7. Let's see how the 4th quarter goes...maybe overtime? Wouldn't that be neat?
