You may have noticed that you can mention people here. It has become common across many social  platforms to use the "@" and then name to reference someone. Here at CarolinaVarsity you will see under the profile picture the name that you can be used for mentions.

Whenever you click the Reply or Quote, it will mention the person you are replying to.
