I’m interesting in the thoughts of this game. Sounds like we could see a slugfest in this game. What can we expect? Any thoughts?
I expect a packed house and a lot of running the ball to the left, to the right, and down the middle. As far as who wins, your guess is as good as mine. These are two of the premier 2A football programs in the state. Add teams such as East Duplin, James Kenan, Midway, and Goldsboro, you have the strongest 2A conference, top to bottom, in the state.
I wouldn't be surprised if both teams score in the 30's if the game is played on a good field. If the field becomes soggy, I expect the laundry workers to put in some overtime this weekend.
Sounded like a dog fight in this game with Clinton wining 14-7 over WRH. I imagine some good defense at play. Any chance these two teams can meet again in the playoffs.
