High Point Christian
High Point
3A
High Point suffered their first loss of the year, but a loss against a very talented Wesleyan team, in a close game is not enough to knock The cougars from the top spot. Center Chuck Ogbodo (6'10"), wing Jackson Kent (6'7") and point guard Diante Baldwin (5'11") continue to raise their stock (both juniors). High Point also beat Greensboro Day in front of a sold out crowd this past week.
2
Christ School
Arden
Christ School has rattled off 14 wins in a row and may have turned themselves back into the favorite to win the 3A state title, despite losing back to back games against High Point and Word of God earlier in the season. Shannon Hale Junior committed to Bama, 6'7" senior Will Weeks, and Towson bound PG Jerome Hairston continue to pace this team. Sophomore Josh Level continuously plays against opposing teams top players and has held his own.

3
Greenfield School
Wilson
1A
Greenfield only has 1 loss on the year, to Greensboro Day and has been playing great basketball. Sam Hughes and Aaron Roundtree have really looked great this season. Right now this is the best and most consistent 1A team in the state.
5
Quality Education Academy
Winston-Salem
N/A
Quality Education has been inconsistent of late (5-4) over their last 9 games, but those games have come against good competition and they have some very strong wins, including a W against Arlington Country Day (one of the top teams in the nation). But the inconsistency has dropped them a couple spots in the rankings.
Greensboro Day
Greensboro
Greensboro Day continues to play great ball, with only 2 losses on their schedule; most recently to High Point Christian and then earlier in the year to Christ School, The Bengals are not losing to bad teams. Coach Freddy Johnson recently became the all time winningest coach in NC HS Basketball history... congrats to coach!

6
Ravenscroft
Raleigh
With only 3 losses on the year, Ravenscroft has been fantastic with Gill, and Jones leading the charge. Despite being upset by Upper Room, which isn't something to hang your head on (Upper Room is good) Ravenscroft has been one of the more consistent teams all year. This is a complete team that is capable of beating anyone on this list.
Upper Room Christian Academy
Upper room like many of the teams that follow on this list have had very up and down seasons, playing a very tough schedule. Upper Room upset Ravenscroft to bump them up 1 spot, but lost against Annapolis of MD. Purvis has a lot of responsibility on this team.
8
Word Of God Academy
Word of God was upset against a tough Flora Macdonald team, and has overall not been dominating competition like they should be. Word of God is in danger of dropping further down the rankings depending on how the end of their season turns out.
9
Northside Christian Academy
Charlotte
2A
Northside moves up won spot and still only has that 1 blemish on their record against Davidson Day. Northside hasn’t had a challenging game since the Davidson Day game, hence the reason for their limited climb in the rankings.
10
United Faith Christian Academy
UFCA makes a nice little jump in the rankings, due to eh addition of Alec Wintering, who is brining in another much needed ball handler and heady player. Also VJ King the ultra talented 8th grader continues to develop. UFCA has won 3 of their last 4, including a tough W against Davidson Day. Their loss came at the hands of Columbia (GA) who is arguably the best team in Georgia.

11
Wesleyan Christian
Wesleyan despite failing against most of their tougher competition this season was able to upset # 1 High Point this past week, which has bumped Wesleyan up a couple spots.
13
12
Davidson Day
Davidson
After a tough loss against UFCA, Davidson Day has dominated both Gaston Day and North Hills. A show down with Northside Christian for the 2A state title is one to mark down on your calendar's!
15
Kennedy Charter
Kennedy Charter still only has 2 losses, but they have lost against both of their challenging opponents this season. Wins against low level competition will not gain points on this poll, despite the WIDE margin of victories.
Flora Macdonald
Red Springs
Flora Mac has made a big jump in the rankings with the victory over Word of God. Flora is making a case to be ranked even high in this poll with only 5 losses on the season. These guys can challenge for a 1A state title.
19
Body of Christ
Body of Christ has been very inconsistent this year, despite their great talent level. Their most recent loss against Covenant Christian (prep school in GA) puts Body of Christ at a record below .500 which forced a drop in the polls. Don’t let the drop fool you though, with Hood, Herron, Anderson, etc... this team can beat anyone on this list!
16
Neuse Christian Academy
Neuse will get to prove tonight against Greensboro Day whether or not they deserve to be ranked higher. Terry Henderson I am sure will come to play!
17
Charlotte Christian
At 17 and 6 Christian is having another solid year and have won three straight after a loss to Norcross of GA. Rooks seems to be turning it on!
18
The Oakwood School
Greenville
Sophomore's James Demery (6'4"), Logan McLane (6'8"), and Dante Buford (6'6") combined with 6'8" senior Jerome Simmons makes Oakwood a dangerous team. Despite their youth they have only 4 losses on the season.
Community Christian School
At 23-3 Community Christian cracks the list, despite falling against the only other teams on this list, the record alone ha propelled them to # 19. They can prove in the playoffs whether they should be higher.
20
Evelyn Mack Academy
After a string of ugly blow out losses against top level competition, such as Oak Hill Academy and Huntington Prep, Mack has fallen all the way to 20. Their talent level and strength of schedule keeps them on the list.
Bubble Teams
Forsyth Country Day
Forsyth
Forsyth has dropped out of the top 20 after a loss to Woodberry Forest.
Christian Faith Center
Creedmore
Christian Faith's tough schedule has done them no favors this year and a recent loss to Rocky Mountain Prep has knocked them out of the top 20.
