Earlier this week we stopped over at Olympic High School and checked in on the Olympic Trojans. Second year Head Coach Jason Fowler is coming off of a 3-8 campaign, but they have some talent ready to step in and improve upon that record this season, including some BIG offensive linemen that are still young, so you can expect some growth out of these guys going forward.
Star WR Jamik Edmunds will move over to the QB position, and Fowler compared him a lot to Tyshawn Carter, the dual threat QB he had a couple of years ago at Rocky River. If Edmunds can perform to that level, Olympic will give some defenses some real headaches next season.
Defensively, Fowler is very high on LB Ari Bowles, who he believes will be the captain of that unit and he was an all conference defender last season as well. We spoke with Coach Fowler, Jamik, and Ari. Please enjoy those interviews below.
We have more school visits coming over the next week as Carolina Varsity continues to give you an inside look at Spring Football!
