AOL City Search Best of Charlotte - BBQ?

I found out today that AOL City Search has a best of Charlotte BBQ poll.

http://citysbest.aol.com/charlotte/best-dining/barbecue/

My goodness does the people voting in this thing know BBQ? How does Sonny's rank in double digit? Sonny's is nothing more than ham, you can hardly call it BBQ! Spoons' my favorite here in Charlotte is currently sitting at second. Bubba's my second favorite is currently tied for third with Sonny's!  I think these people need to get out and eat some real BBQ.

Yes I just returned from another fine lunch at Spoon's but I didn't have the Banana Pudding. I love it but I cannot eat so much of it! They have some of the best banana pudding you will find anywhere. And Spoon's BBQ is awesome, if you like good smoked pork served to you Eastern NC style. And they have a very good Eastern vinegar sauce. For some reason the pork was extra good today!

People, I eat BBQ just about everywhere I go. Every state/city I've traveled to I've eaten BBQ there if they have it. So I think I know a little something about BBQ. Certainly everyone has differing tastes, I tend to like most all styles with a preference to Eastern NC style.
