6 Replies and 607 Views Charlotte Football In 2018  607  6 Started by  pepman Been having a number of people asking: When is Carolina Varsity going to start breaking down Charlotte Football In 2018 My simple answer: It's too early because we still will see some new faces in different places. But, we can look at some storylines for now to satiate the thirst until late July, when we will really jump into it: 1. The IMECK is LOADED - This conference was loaded last year with 3 teams in the state semifinals, and you quite possibly see the same thing this year. We all ... Like:

7 Replies and 204 Views The 1974-1996 Jacksonville Cardinals: a silent regional power  204  7 Started by  Jim West In 2018, the Jacksonville Cardinals usually play second fiddle to 3A state power Havelock Rams.  The Cardinals are still a very good team, but they do not dominate their own conference.  In fact, they have not won their conference since 2000. The 1974 to 1996 Cardinal teams dominated their conference!  From 1974 to 1984, there were 10 4A conferences and 16 4A playoff teams.  As such, only 6 at-large teams received an at-large bid.  What made the Cardinals a regiona...
