Having been an avid sports fan ever since I was a young boy, I became interested in High School basketball when I was in middle school. In between playing the three major sports (football, basketball, and baseball) throughout High School, rooting for the Yankees, Giants, and Michigan Wolverines, I began following local high school basketball in Albany New York. By the time I was in High School I started going to major tournaments and following the top players in the country. Upon graduating from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management and minors in Economics and Management, I moved to Charlotte four years ago and continued my hobby of watching and following HS hoops. I quickly caught on and began working for PrimePreps as a national recruiting analyst for a short period, before moving over to ScoutsFocus working under the same title. I have taken a step back from scouting on a professional level and continue to write about HS hoops, as well as evaluate talent.
